Bianchello is an ancient clone of ubiquitous white grape varietal Trebbiano. It’s grown in the Metauro area of Marche region, Central Italy. Boccalino is the proprietary name of Terracruda winery’s take on Bianchello del Metauro. A single-vineyard – hand-harvested and grown without using pesticides – Boccalino is one of the purest expression of Bianchello del Metauro.
Terracruda winery is located in Fratterosa, province of Pesaro-Urbino, Marche region, Central Italy. It’s a family-owned business devoted to full sustainability in the vineyards and in the winery – which is entirely built underground in order to lower the environmental impact and energy consumption.
