Teodor Belo is a unique blend of Ribolla, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignonasse – local name for the indigenous varietal also known as Friulano. The wine is an homage to Marjan Simčič’s father. The three varietals are vinified separately and aged for 22 months in oak barrels, a process that gives this wine a remarkable structure. Drink through 2025.
Marjan Simčič winery is located in the beautiful landscape of the Goriška Brda region of Slovenia, very close to the Italian border. The region was traditionally Italian, and the vineyards that produce this wine lie in Italy.
