Ribolla is a Slovene indigenous grape varietal native to the Goriška Brda region. The Brda marl soil, under the influence of the mild Mediterranean climate, is the ideal terroir for Ribolla Gialla. Ribolla is one of the white grape varietals most suited for aging.
Marjan Simčič winery is located in the beautiful landscape of the Goriška Brda region of Slovenia, very close to the Italian border. The region was traditionally Italian, and the vineyards that produce this wine lie in Italy.
